Good Tea, Slow Delivery

I ordered the Chamomile Tea and a Glass Teapot from Tea Life. The ordering process on their website was pretty straightforward, found everything I needed without much fuss. Payment went through fine. It took 10 days for my package to arrive in Florida, which felt a bit long since it's coming from Australia, even though I knew it was international shipping. The chamomile tea itself is really nice, very calming and fresh. The teapot is decent quality for the price, no issues there. I had a quick question about brewing instructions for the chamomile, and I used their online chat. Support was helpful but took a few minutes to connect. Overall, good products, just manage expectations on shipping time.

My new favorite place for tea

So I decided to try their Butterfly Pea Flower Tea because I saw it on TikTok and thought it looked cool. It was my first time ordering from Tea Life. The website was easy to use, no annoying pop-ups or anything. It took about a week and a half for it to get here, which was fine since it came from far away. The tea is actually really pretty and tastes good, kinda earthy but not in a bad way. It was a good experience, I'll probably get more stuff from them soon.

Consistent quality, reliable service

I've bought from Tea Life a few times now, mainly their Green Tea and Earl Grey. This most recent order was for a sample pack and some more Green Tea. They're always consistent. The tea quality is reliably good, always fresh and well-packaged. Shipping usually takes about a week and a half to get to me in California, which is what I expect. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting, and it's always met my expectations. No surprises, which is what you want sometimes.

Quick question about their organic teas. Are they actually legit organic? I've seen some places claim it but then it's kinda shady. Want to make sure before I stock up on some rooibos.

J Josh V. 2 months ago
Yep, they're legit. All their organic stuff is certified, I think they even mention it on their product pages. I've bought their organic peppermint and it's top-notch.

They say it on their site, and yeah, I've always felt good about the quality. Haven't seen any red flags and the taste is always super fresh, which to me points to good sourcing.

Looking at getting some blue lotus flower tea from Tea Life, but also considering T2 Tea. Has anyone tried both and can say which one is better quality or just a better experience overall?

R Rosa Walsh 2 months ago
I've only had the Blue Lotus from Tea Life, but it was really good. Very fragrant and relaxing. Can't speak for T2's version, but Tea Life's is ethically sourced which is a big plus for me.

Honestly, for specialty teas like Blue Lotus, Tea Life usually has a wider selection and I find their quality to be consistently high. T2 is great for blends but for specific herbals, I lean towards Tea Life. Plus, Tea Life often has better bulk pricing.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had issues with shipping times from Tea Life? Thinking of ordering some bulk green tea for a friend's birthday next month, but it's a bit time-sensitive since I need to ship it to them after I get it.

D Daisy K. 1 month ago
Nah, they're usually pretty good. I'm in Perth and even out here it only took like 4-5 business days last time I ordered. Should be fine if you order within the next week or so.

Yeah, I've ordered a few times to Melbourne and it's always been pretty quick, usually within 3-7 business days for me. You can probably find their exact shipping estimates on their site, but I haven't had any super long delays.

Does anyone know if Tea Life lets you stack coupon codes? Got one from signing up for the newsletter, but also have a referral code from a mate. Trying to maximize the savings on a big order.

T Tara Brooks 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. I tried it once with a seasonal sale code and a loyalty points one, and it just applied the last one I entered.

I think their policy is no stacking, like most online stores. You usually have to pick the better discount. Maybe try both and see which one gives you more off?

So, I'm thinking of getting a sample pack to try a few different types, but I heard some places have weird return policies for opened food items. What's Tea Life's deal if I open one and don't like it?

D David 2 months ago
I don't think you can return opened tea, like most places. It's for hygiene reasons, you know? Best bet is to get a sample pack if you're unsure, then you're only out a small amount if you don't like one.

Yeah, pretty sure once it's open it's yours. That's why I always go for samples first, especially with new types of tea. Their policy is usually pretty clear about opened products not being returnable.
